This Website is a service of sharing the love of Jesus Christ. We all need a friend; and He is the One True friend that we all need to know, and to have, in our lives. If we know Him, we've experienced what a great friend He really is, and we need to share His friendship with others. If you'll look closely at the picture above, you'll see a little black kitten that is lost. This lonely little kitten needed a friend; someone who would reach out and help it in a time of need. By the way it responded, it was very grateful to know that someone had taken the time to make sure that its needs were taken care of. Some food, and a little love, gave it the assurance that it would be okay. The food that we have to give to others, to let them know they're loved, is the food of God's Word. Share His Word with someone today. You never know when someone is just waiting for that special food and a friend who really cares.
"Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness" (Acts 14:17). "What a Friend we have in Jesus!"

'Sharing Jesus'

The quilt below was 'hand stiched' by my Grandma Pruitt (Minerva), my mother's (Frances Pruitt Burke Jarvis) mom, probably in the 1940's and 50's. She gave it to me
years ago. I can see scrapes of material from dresses that my mom wore. Feed sacks were used a lot in the years that grandma and mom were raising their children to make dresses and sometimes skirts, shirts and blouses (that's right, I wore 'feed-sack' dresses). I can't imagine how long it took grandma to make this quilt. There are pieces not bigger than an inch, yet, she has sown them together and somehow made them fit. What an awesome Grandmother! She and mom are with Jesus now. I hope He will let her know that I am showing her hand-work. I love you grandma!  She is one of the women spoken of in Proverbs Chapter thirty one. Read the whole chapter.
